  1. It is interesting how sex is so stigmatized in society. Considering that it has been around since the beginning of time itself, you would think that people would be over the whole “OMG what are they doing?!” phase by now. Religion could probably be blamed for a lot of it (I certainly do- 9 yrs of Catholic school will do that to you.) Catholicism teaches that recreation-only sex and/or sex outside of marriage is wrong, but what if it’s done with the best intentions? The same applies to any other religions that teach the same thing.

    Society as a whole seems to condemn recreational/free sex ad nauseam as well. I get tired of all the comments I see on various boards where people bark that children out of wedlock and/or unmarried couples living together is what is undoing society as a whole. The thing is, problems have always existed. It’s just interesting how often people take aim at what is not the societal norm.
